Behavior Standards
1. BE YOURSELF AND RESPECT OTHERS. You may express yourself in utmost courtesy and respect for other members of this board.
2. Nigerian Consumers Opinion Forum is not a place where vulgarity and obscenity is allowed. Explicit, obscene or vulgar language will be removed. Likewise, user names, messages, board posts, avatar, signatures and similar user posted materials that contain objectionable material (text or graphic) will be deleted without prior notice. The administrator reserves the right to remove/ban members who refuse to comply with these guidelines.
3. Generate active discussions, we encourage members to voice out their opinions on any subject and while we encourage healthy and interesting debates, arguments or discussion to insult or malign your fellow board members ARE NOT ALLOWED. We will NOT tolerate personal attacks, epithets, slurs, foul language or libellous material directed towards forum members or third parties. Any violation of this rule will be dealt with immediately by the administrators and moderators.
4. Keep your posts on-topic. To maintain consistency within the topic groups, we remind members to maintain your posts within the bounds of the topic in discussion. Deliberate disruption, such as consistent off-topic commentary, will NOT be tolerated. The moderators reserve the right to delete posts and whole threads that are deemed to be of an abusive or disruptive nature. Off-topic posts and threads will be moved to their proper groups or forums.
5. Posting sensitive personal information on the message boards such as, and not limited to, your home address and mobile phone number, is not encouraged. If you wish to share and/or ask such information, do so through Private Messaging. The administrators and moderators, however, will not be held responsible for any incidents that may occur from sharing personal information through private message.
6. Posts inviting members to have sex, whether cyber, real-life, or phone, are STRICTLY forbidden and will be immediately purged, and the member concerned meted corresponding action.
7. Spamming, unsolicited messaging, commercial or otherwise are explicitly prohibited. The moderators and administrators will automatically delete such posts, messages or other material without prior notice.
8. The moderators and administrators of these forums reserve the right to suspend, ban or delete community member accounts who violate the aforementioned rules without prior notice.
